Equine Portraits

When looking at other animals and photos of them, I am always struct by the eyes and what they show and what they hide of the living individual within. The eyes seem to form a bond and a connection between all living animals. They are a mystery and they are a shared experience. They are a part of the wonder of life within this universe.

The horses in these photos are my sister’s horses. She has cared for three different horse over the years that I have had several opportunities to photograph. Magnificent and beautiful animals with a life and personality all their own.
